Someone gimme some taste buds

Me and D went out for some pub grub last night to cheer ourselves up and i decided to have some steak cos i haven't had steak for aggges.

When it came out, it was massive! It was supposed to be 8oz. More like double that.

Sadly, my sense of smell and taste have still yet to make a comeback so although it looked mouth wateringly good, it all tasted of cardboard.

D told me it tasted good. Apart from the mushrooms, they tasted rank.
