Babies & poo and stuff
Last night, i went out with some lovely friends, 2 of which are in the family way. Below is what we talked about...
* My moving to a pub
* Support for single mums
* Babies moving about in the womb
* Our men & football
* Maternity leave
* Our cats & N's mums dog
* Morning sickness
* Pooing while giving birth
Yep, we talked about having a poo whilst in the throes of labour...
Seriously, i need to think about something else or when i eventually have a baby, all i'll rant about to the nurses while bearing down is whether or not i'm pooing or pushing...
Eck!

Yeah well, at least you know now.
Um. Interesting.
I had a c-section, so I have no idea if I poo-ed or not when I gave birth.
But I can say in all honesty that if I did it still wasn't the grosest part.
it's funny, cos a friend who had her baby a few years ago was scared to death about 'disgracing herself' while giving birth and tried not to push so hard. After her husband told her it was ok, the nurses have seen it all before Abby was born within minutes.
She had to have a hell of a lot of stitches after, shes convinced it's because she refused to push for ages.
She said the stitches were the worst part for her, they wouldn't let her hold her baby for ages while they did it.
