Hey people, I've not blogged for ages. Nothing new there then.
I have limited time so here is a brief glance at my life in the past month...
*I have had major stresses with work. I mean actual big, major, lie in darkened room & sob loudly stresses. All to do with 1 person & 1 event. He blamed me when I was absent from work but to my face blamed himself. I found out about the backstabbing & had a fantastically loud & very unprofessional argument with him. I've since proved that I did all I could & the blame lied with him. Luckily I cover my ass well!!
*My friend's dad passed away. He had been incredibly ill for about a year now & I last seen him about a month ago when he came into the pub for Sunday lunch. I was shocked at the time of how ill & gaunt he had become. Ironically, he had overcome the original illness, it was more or less the shock of the fight that he went through that finally put him to rest. It's affected me more than I'd thought to be honest, he was such a lovely man & we will miss him greatly. God rest your soul Mr. Paul, sleep tight in peace. May all the worlds strength be with your family.
*My friends N&G finally moved house after months of stress & let downs. Congrats on your new home babes!! I will miss the old house though, it's been in the family for years!
* Me & D went on our jolly holidays to surprisingly sunny Devon last week. Seriously, it was sunny. Not warm though. This is what we did...
Saturday - arrived & went to Brixham for the evening. Walked around the harbour & watched a man try and nick a boat. He was very drunk. It kept us entertained for an hour.
Sunday - Visited Hope Cove for D. He loves Hope Cove. Hope Cove is lovely but booooring. Has lunch in a pub that previously was nice but has since turned into one of them crappy pubs that serve processed food. Yum I think not!! We then went to Kingsbridge & wandered around a bit. We went into another pub cos I needed a wee & they wouldn't let me use the loo unless we bought a drink! Miserable bastards!! We went for a drive Sunday evening & got lost on the country roads. Found a pub for food & it was like £14 for a bit of chicken. Oops!!
Monday - Took a jolly to Becky Falls & the House of Marbles. I love Becky falls. The House of Marbles has become a bit shit though, they didn't even have the glass blowing demonstrations on! Got mega drunk Monday night and made a bit of a twat of myself. We won't go there.
Tuesday - Visited Kents Cavern & the Model Village and had a wander around Babbacombe. Played bingo in the evening & won sod all!
Wednesday - Went to Torquay to shop & stuff. Found loads of stuff I really really wanted & D refused to let me have any of it. Was very sad!
Thursday - Went to Paignton Zoo & it was FUN!!! watched a tabby cat try and catch some birds & the baboons, I love the baboons! There was a ickle baby one. God, it was soo cute!!
Friday - Tried to find Berry Pomery to see the haunted castle & got so lost it took us an hour to get off the stupid country roads. Ended up back at the caravan waiting for the bingo to start.
Saturday - came home. Boooooo!
Sunday - went back to work. Booooooooooo!!!
