Bits & Bobs...

Yep, I've been suffering with yet another cold. This time it was a bad one, I had to take time off work to rest up & recover. Today I am better, but still have a tremendously snotty nose.

Not much in the way of excitement in LMPP land in the last month. One of my closest friends split up with her boyfriend. Not through choice, he threw her out. She's devestated & can't move on despite me trying to help her. He's still in contact with her but methinks he's telling her just want she wants to hear. Actions speak louder than words mate. Think about it.

The saving for the new house is going well. However, I'm now a little dubious about buying a house in the current climate. Everywhere you look says we are on the brink of recession, I'm not sure I want to be a home owner during this time, or even try to get a mortgage. We are under a little pressure from D's mum to buy her house & I don't want to cause a family row if I say not yet. (We are meant to be buying in September). Not sure what to do.

Hopefully July will be more interesting...!

Excitement and Drama in the world of work in the last couple of weeks...



Drama... The newbie got the sack for taking 32 days of sick in less than 10 months. Yup, you heard right! 32 days!! Bonus for me, didn't have to double check & correct all the work anymore as I would be doing it. Boo for me, more damn work!!



Excitement... The infamous Tart is back! Yes, she returned to working with me on Monday so bonus for me, no more damn work & I can go on holiday without stressing about everything! There's no boo, I'm just waaaay happy that I have my Tart back!!



Double boo however, I normally blog in work cos the PC at home takes an age to boot up and if you wanted to use 'tinternet then the PC would laugh at you and switch off. Now, my boss has banned all internet usage so therefore I have to 'covert blog' instead. So people, you will hear from me whan my boss is out of the office!
